SXSW was started in 1994 as a conference named as SXSW film and multimedia Conference but next year it was divided into two distinct conferences SXSW Film and SXSW Multimedia, which is later named as SXSW Interactive. In 2002 SXSW Music festival started, which attracted the large number of crowd. In 2006 SXSW video is added in SXSW Interactive. Last year this festival was dedicated to Alex Chilton, and 2000 bands came to perform there.
This year SXSW Music and Media Conference are going to celebrate their 25th Anniversary and from quarter of a century they have a record of entertaining the people. There are hundred of bands, which are going to celebrate and perform on the stages of Austin Convention Centre.
