I Am Legend Fiction Movie

‘I Am Legend’ is a science fiction movie which was released in 2007 and directors of the movie are Francis Lawrence and Will Smith. The movie was based on the novel of Richard Matheson.
The cast of the movie includes Will Smith as Dr. Robert Neville, Alice Braga as Anna, Emma Thompson as Dr. Alice Krippin, Charlie Tahan as Ethan, Salli Richardson as Zoe Neville, Willow Smith as Marley Neville and many other characters.

The film was made in the Los Angeles to New York City, and they gave the location empty look. They took shoots of the movie in Grand Central Terminal, Fifth Avenue and Washington Square Park. In started making in the quarter of 2006 and Marcy Avenue Armory was used as Neville’s home and Greenwich Village was its exterior. The scene on the bridge was captured on Brooklyn Bridge foe consecutive six nights. Each shot took $ 5 million of the movie and make the budget high and considered as the most expensive scene which have ever shot. Its shooting was ended in year 2007’s March.
Effects of the movie were made by using Computer Generated Imagery. By using it the pedestrian, cars and spectators in the shoots were removed and lions and deer were added. Mike Patton gave the sound of shouting and yowling to the infected people he is a leading singer of Faith No more.
The movie was supposed to be released at November 21st of 2007 in US and Canada but delayed to December and after some days it was released in UK and Ireland. The opening of the ‘I Am Legend’ earned $ 77,211,321 dollars in its first week. Its DVD versions were released in2008 and then Blue ray Disc and HD DVD were released.
